Looks like some folks over at Livejournal have put together a DCU Big Bang.
These are the dates from the site:
- May 30 - Author/Artist sign-ups
- June 15 - Author sign-ups close
- July 1 - Author check-in
- August 1 - Author check-in
- September 1 - Mandatory author check-in
- September 7 - Author rough drafts due (at least 80% done)
- September 8 - Fic summaries go up for artists to peruse
- September 10 - Artist claiming opens
- September 14 - Claiming ends; no more artist sign-ups
- October 1 - Author and artist check-in
- October 15 - Mandatory author and artist check-in
- October 21 - Author and artist final drafts due
- October 22 - Posting sign-ups open
- October 24 -31 - Posting
General rules:
- Anything goes as long as it’s based around a DC character.
- Can be from any brand of DC. IE - Young Justice Cartoon, Teen Titans comic, any “age”… etc
- Needs to be at least 10,000 words. Which really isn’t that long as far as big bangs actually go. This could be called a moderately big bang. Especially considering if you sign up on the last day of sign ups you still have little more than four months to finish.
- Art is open ended and I really think all the amazing Tumblr artists should sign up. <3<3<3
- Fusions/AU’s/Cross-overs are allowed, but you have to base the story around any DC character.

Oh my, I think I need to do this. I still want to finish Spare Parts, which no one here has read besides willayork. Oh. Oh my. Oh dear. I already have enough to be able to do it. But… Gah! I shouldn’t given my novel and goal to write 50% original fic this year but I think I may just have to do this.
Oh I want to do this so badly… 10k isn’t anything really for a minimum, but what if I bomb or I actually have to focus in school this fall term? I have so many ideas but so many nervous feelings
